The Official Trailer for Marvel’s newest entry into their cinematic universe for Spider-Man: No Way Home. The trailer ran for exactly three minutes and four seconds and fans have already reached a new level of hype for the movie. “I can already tell you I will be there for opening day,” senior Dylan Miller said.

Marvel Fans worldwide have been anticipating the official trailer for the newest Spider-Man movie, and on Nov. 17. They finally got their wish. The trailer has already produced over nine million views across Sony’s and Marvel’s youtube channels in just two hours.
The teaser trailer demolished the most views in 24 hours ever at 355.5 million views across all platforms, with second place miles behind it being another Marvel movie, Avengers Endgame, with 289 million views.
The difference between the teaser and the official trailers for No Way Home has been with the teaser focusing on the movie’s overall premise, whereas the official trailer gives a better understanding of what to expect and even who to expect in the film.
Spider-Man: No Way Home follows the events of the previous movie in the trilogy as Mysterio revealed Peter Parker’s identity as Spider-Man. As a result, he seeks out help from Doctor Strange to cast a spell to erase Spider-Man’s identity from everyone’s mind but it goes wrong so now they must face villians from all across the multiverse.
The trailer confirms villains that have only been hinted at leading with The Lizard, Willam Defoe’s Green Goblin, Electro, Sand-Man, and what was already previously confirmed from the first trailer, Alfred Molina’s Doctor Otto Octavious from the Sam Raimi trilogy. While fans were expecting the reveal of Andrew Garfield’s and Toby Maguire’s Spider-Man from their respective universes, fans shouldn’t lose hope. Doctor Otto Octavius confirmed that he didn’t recognize Tom Holland’s Spider-Man, proving he is from another universe with a different Spider-Man which could be Tobey Maguire’s universe. Also, Jamie Foxx could reprise his version of Electro from the Andrew Garfield universe, but his design seems different as it is more comic book accurate and less from the other Spider-Man film.
Fans are already speculating about the possible ending of the trailer with Doctor Strange teasing that there is still more to come than what has been seen.
“I honestly have no idea what that portal at the end of the trailer could mean, but I am definitely ready to find out.” senior Taylor Graham said.
