Over 73,000 people attended “The Eras Tour ” opening night, breaking Madonna’s record for most attended female concert in U.S. history at Los Angeles Anaheim Stadium. “The Eras Tour” had a bumpy start when Ticketmaster was accused of interfering with the ticket sales, leaving thousands of people unable to buy a ticket for one of her shows. Ticketmaster was taken to court where even the US senators quoted some of Swift’s lyrics. Even with everything that occurred during ticket sales, “The Eras Tour” is proven to be wildly successful.
“The Eras Tour” will hit 52 cities in total and according to Pollstar Podcast, it might become the highest-grossing tour of all time. If things keep going the way that they are for Swift she could collect up to 520 million dollars from her tour. “The Eras Tour” was one for the history books. The Tour kicked off in New York City where Taylor performed for a sold out crowd at Madison Square Garden. From there she performed in cities all over the world.
