Coy Pope has been a staff writer for the YHS insight since 2019. He loves writing about all things sports, but also covers all sorts of other topics. Before joining the YHS insight staff, Pope was on the YMS Broadcasting Staff for 2 years. He has been an active member of the YHS cross country and soccer teams, contributing on and off the field for the teams.

Tristen Blum, Ronan Feronti and Ethan Achipa received the StellarXplorers Rookie Award for the best performance from a first-year team. Achipa credited the success to multiple factors. "Our focus on teamwork and our ability to work individually towards a common goal helped us tremendously when completing tasks effectively and on time."
